Welcome! Magnetic Reason Ltd. is a company founded and operated by me, Keith Sterling. Magnetic Reason is dedicated to teaching, coaching and consulting in software delivery and quality assurance, specifically around Agile tools and techniques. Many Agile companies consist of business people trying to provide agile services ( and often getting it wrong ). I like to think I'm more like a craftsman who runs a business.
We are an agile enablement company, created in 2003, specialising in the coaching, mentoring and training of software development teams that want to benefit from methods that allow them to deliver high quality software faster, cheaper and more in tune with what their customers really want.
What we do
We offer a range of services which allow an organisation to adopt agile techniques and methods and get the best from their software teams. We can provide cost effective off-the-shelf and bespoke training courses covering Agile development, testing, analysis and project management. Courses can be run in house or at a venue to suit individual clients.
Alternatively we can work with you on a full or part time basis to establish an Agile presence in your organisation through a combination of training, coaching and mentoring. We have a access to a wide range of professionals that we have hand picked for the specialist knowledge in specific areas.
Finally we can join your team as an active member, leading by example, providing learning and coaching in roles from project/programme manager to developer, tester and/or analyst.

We don't offer some grand vision of Agile nirvana, but through the pragmatic selection and adoption of the right techniques, tools and processes we can guarantee to improve your quality, speed to market and relationship with your customer.
We are not tied to specific Agile methodology, infact we prefer to pick and choose aspects from the broad spectrum of methods available, ensuring a closer alignment to your business today, but more importantly to where you business needs to be tomorrow.
