Technical Management

- Proven experience of a range of Project Management and delivery methodologies, include Scrum, and Agile ( Extreme Programming ), Prince 2, Rational Unified Process and DSDM
- Proven ability to identify, classify, mitigate and resolve risks to delivery schedule, functionality, and quality.
- Focus on delivery, ability to decide most pragmatic approach in the face of the most challenging constraints and trade-offs.
- Prioritisation of effort where it may deliver maximum business value
- Construction of strong technical teams from scratch, including domains of responsibility, trust and accountability.
- Leadership, training, mentoring by example – “hands on”, i.e. with coded artefacts to support directions taken.
- Clear structured Communication of ideas and concepts to Technical Architects and other roles vital to the delivery process. Communication of systems audits and status to board level.
Technical Expertise
- Successful completion of critical Architectural audits. Clear balanced judgements regarding the strengths & weaknesses of competing Architectures, Frameworks and Designs, and integration issues.
- “Hands on” cross-discipline architectural experience, Training, and Certification across both J2EE, Microsoft, C/Unix disciplines. Includes OSS/BSS, B2B, B2C, synchronous, and messaging frameworks.
- Leverage the best and most appropriate artefacts, procedures and standards from innovative and more established sources: Agile, XP, RUP, Open Source; J2EE, Microsoft., Oracle, and other recognised architectures.
